Back in 1986 two brothers who were born and raised in a small Alberta town, left their respective careers (one in accounting and other in engineering) to forge their own entrepreneurial path and the two companies Hines Commercial Services and Hines Industrial Site Services each began a successful branch of property maintenance services in Alberta. Dawn Hines; life partner of the younger brother; Dwight Hines, began the janitorial service company in the booming town of Fort MacMurray and vicinity to support the oil & gas sector while the other brother Jack Hines, started in Calgary and serviced a host of critical telecommunication facilities throughout the southern part of the province.
Both family companies grew and expanded their services under the leadership of Corey Hines and John Hines throughout the first and second decade of the new millennium supporting many of Canada’s S & P/ TSX 60 companies. In 2020 the two multi-generational family businesses merged their operations and expertise and now service commercial, industrial, HOA and retail properties throughout western Canada and now starting in the United States headquartered in Texas. With more than 150 dedicated team members and growing we at Hines Facilities continue to expand our services, affiliated companies and client support philosophy across Canada and throughout the States.
Hines Facilities was founded four decades ago, and provides integrated facility and maintenance services for leading companies including the resource and energy, communication, logistics, finance, marine and technology sectors.
From their downtown head offices to the industrial operations and remote facility sites, Hines Facilities provides all manner of maintenance support services. From Day one, we put our clients first and delivered results through Integrity – Innovation – Insight. It’s that simple and we know the difficulty and challenges in delivering ‘Simple’; when it’s required on time which in business terms translates to ‘we need it done last week’. So thinking outside of the business box and going that extra distance has built trusted relationships that continue strong to this day.
